Alimentomica

Alimentomica is a company that focuses its activity in the research and development of new components, technologies, and innovations to improve people's diet and health. We are especially interested in the prevention of obesity and associated pathologies through the improvement of early life feeding, since solid scientific evidence, with important contributions of our own group, indicates that nutritional factors in the first stages of life can condition the susceptibility to obesity and the metabolic syndrome in the adult age. Alimentomica is formed from a team of twelve professionals and more than thirty external contributors with background, training and experience in a variety of disciplines, from biotechnology and nutrigenomics to project and business management. The research team of Alimentomica possesses a long and outstanding experience in the obesity and nutrition arenas, as demonstrated by the many projects in these areas it has developed, its publications, articles and patents. The team is leaded by Professor Andreu Palou, a worldwide landmark in obesity and nutrition.
