The City of Maple Heights

The City of Maple Heights is a first-ring suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. Since its founding in 1915, generations of families have planted roots here, creating a strong sense of community that grows and thrives together. Today, nearly 25,000 residents are proud to call the 5.17 square miles of Maple Heights home. Ideally situated just 9 miles from both Downtown Cleveland, Ohio and University Circle employment hubs, Maple Heights features optimal access to Interstate Highways I-480, 271, and 77 each in very close proximity. Maple Heights is also home to the Norfolk Southern Intermodal rail yard, which serves as a direct pipeline for freight traffic to and from the Port of Cleveland, connecting both commercial trucking and interstate rail with the Great Lakes Seaway. Residents and visitors alike frequent the City's busy shopping centers – which host a diverse range of locally owned shops, eateries and national chains. The Cleveland-Akron-Canton Combined Statistical Area is home to over 3.6 million people.
