Murmellius Gymnasium Alkmaar

The "Murmellius Gymnasium"​ (Grammar School) is quite unique in Alkmaar the Netherlands. It is the only school in which all pupils are taught at one level, VWO (A-levels). Moreover, the two classical languages, Latin and/or Greek, are obligatory. They will help the pupils to understand our European heritage and to grasp other languages better, like French, German, English and Dutch. This school will prepare pupils for schools of higher education and universities. However, they are also quite a few extra-curricular activities.
