Wuf Shanti teaches mindfulness-based SEL for kids (with a dog character, music, 100 videos, 7 books, a mindful mobile app), & for teens (minus the dog character), which includes the Kids Assn for Mindfulness in Education & Mindful Kids Peace Summit. Created by a youth mental health education advocate (Adam, now 17), Wuf Shanti has been on Children's TV Network in hospitals across the globe, KidoodleTV, Adventure to Learning (in 25,000 schools), & on local PBS stations. Common Sense Media named Wuf Shanti mobile app one of "Best Health Apps & Games for Kids" & "Best Meditation App for Kids." Adam is certified in MBSR-T by Stressed Teens, Kidding Around Yoga, & the Emotion Code. Wuf Shanti visits schools & hospitals to share our curriculum. Our intentions for Wuf Shanti are to teach kids cope with emotions & stress so they can grow up to be less depressed & anxious teenagers, & healthier, happier, peace-loving, compassionate, & empathetic adults. The Mindful Kids Peace Summit is online with experts talking about communication, diversity, inclusion, anti-bullying, mindfulness (yoga, meditation, breathing, positivity), positive psychology, SEL (self-awareness, self-regulation, self-compassion, resilience), interacting with compassion & kindness, collaboration, & more. The curriculum is about mental health & stopping the violence.
