Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library

The Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library is a full-service municipal library directly handling the personal enrichment needs of Bismarck and Burleigh County residents. As a member of Central Dakota Library Network (CDLN), we offer direct access to materials and resources in libraries throughout Burleigh, Morton, McLean, Mercer, and Oliver Counties. CDLN has a collection of more than 560,000 items, including books, audio books, DVDs, and music CDs. Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library patrons also have access to eBooks, digital audio books, and many online resources. The library provides public access computers and wireless Internet access. The library also has children's, teen, and adult programming including story times, computer classes, and film events. We are a busy place! Each year we: -Circulate over 539,000 items -Update our collection of over 250,000 items -Welcome 354,000 visitors -Answer 30,000 reference questions at our Information Desk -Log 156,000 public computer and wi-fi uses -Have 50,000 people attend events and meetings at the library
