The content vertical for Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, Zee Studios, has emerged as a full-fledged state-of-the-art studio. With many hits under its banner, ZEE Studios has grown to be a one-stop destination for film production, promotions and advertising, distribution and revenue generating streams. The studio has been focused on films aimed at pairing strong content with powerful performers and developing strong story driven films. It has established a strong presence in the Hindi and Marathi markets with a string of successful movies over the last few years, such as the internationally acclaimed Marathi film - Sairat, the Sridevi starrer film - MOM, the Aamir Khan starrer - Secret Superstar, Kangna Ranaut starrer - Manikarnika and the biggest sleeper hit - The Tashkent Files. ZEE Studios has also delivered regional hits in languages like Punjabi and Kannada. ZEE Studios' marketing and distribution processes have been gradually scaling up successfully in both domestic and international markets. In 2019, Zee Studios launched an independent digital content studio, Zee Studios Originals, that produces a robust bouquet of premium, original content, and creates new IPs for all digital platforms globally.
