Our aim is to help deliver wealth creation and health improvement to Greater Manchester, East Lancashire and East Cheshire by bringing together healthcare and academic organisations in partnership with industry, local authorities and other agencies. The area we cover already has world class strengths in patient safety, informatics and partnering with industry to nurture and grow innovations. We already initiate and host world leading health sciences research. We now have a unique opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives. We see ourselves as a system integrator - an organisation that links different parts of the health and social care ecosystem.
