Global Cancer Trial Network is an innovative group of scientists and clinicians based in Melbourne, Australia. In our studies, we noticed a communication gap between clinicians and pharmaceutical companies. Consequently, clinicians are often aware of clinical trial running only in their hospital or local area. In a world where cancer genomics understanding is growing at full speed, targeted treatment options are more and more widespread around the globe. And that is why Global Cancer Trial Network (gCTN) is working to create a user-friendly platform that matches cancer patients to suitable clinical trials globally. Our platform will optimise consultations between doctors and patients, help pharmaceutical companies to track suitable patients for their trials and ultimately raise the chances of a successful treatment outcome.
