Skandia Investment Group (SIG) - is a young, dynamic international investment funds business. Our aim is to offer customers great returns on their investments by picking some of the world's best fund managers to run their money. Unlike many other fund groups, we appreciate that no one fund management firm has all the best fund managers, so instead we seek out the world's best from other firms and ask them to invest on our behalf. So because SIG 'manages managers' (rather than stocks and shares) then just like a football club, when 'players' fail to deliver we go out and replace them. To deliver new fund managers we have one of the biggest in-house teams of its kind in the industry. What's also neat about us is that our investment gurus have the skills to seek out where the best returns are to be had for our customers' money. And they do so by investing in other company's funds so getting the same exposure as if invested directly in stocks and shares. SIG is part of the Wealth Management Division of Old Mutual Group - a financial services corporation that has been around for well over 150 years. In many respects SIG is Old Mutual's "Intel Inside" in that they have a quality investment management brand driving many of their investment products. What's great about our close working relationship with our chums across Old Mutual and its Skandia branded businesses is that we can get much closer to our customers and offer them better designed products. But a quality investment management 'brand' not only makes us attractive to Old Mutual's businesses but also makes us appealing to other fund sellers. So it's not surprising that we are selling funds to other financial services companies across 20+ countries including the UK as well as Continental Europe, the Nordics, South East Asia, Latin America and South Africa. So that essentially is SIG - Old Mutual's 'Intel Inside'!
