The South African Energy Crisis is an ongoing saga that first surfaced in the later months of 2007, when the residents and businesses alike started to experience widespread rolling blackouts as supply fell behind demand, threatening to destabilize the national grid. It was only from around 2009 that our parent company at that time participated in numerous Eskom IDM projects to help reduce the demand from the national grid, through the installation of energy efficient products with greater focus being on the lighting products installed in homes and businesses throughout the country. The current escalation of our energy crisis has identified the clear need for a sustainable and reliable "off-the-grid" energy solution that does so much more than simply reduce the demand; The company was born from the sincere desire and commitment to a sustainable solution from a team of dedicated focused entrepreneurs, to solve a complex energy problem facing power consumers daily in their homes and businesses alike. The solution was developed by the same team that currently delivers world class energy efficient lighting technology and energy management systems to a hosts of clients in the public and private sectors across the African and Asian continents. The technology and solution is an innovative and most certainly efficient system, that has been engineered and re-engineered to a point where the solution is now robust and supported by the OEM's unconditional swop out warranty.
