NOVELIS PAE , an enginnering company of 37 people, develops and manufacture tailor made solutions. for the highest satisfaction of our numerous customers Among our products, you may find : Twin roll caster, also called continous caster or according to our branding jumbo 3C ® caster (stands for Coulée Continue entre Cylindres). An evolution of this 3C is the 3CM® ( M for mince i.e. thin). More than 110 machines installed worldwide with roll diameter from 620mm to 1150mm and up to 2300 mm wide. this technology is also available for tin casting, lead casting, copper casting, zinc casting and magnesium casting. Aluminium Direct chilled casting, (DC casting), up to 7 strands and slabs lengths up to 9 meters. All alloys are possible. Around 80 casting pits are running with our technology worldwide. As safe work is in our DNA, we deliver the patented Autopack® system to secure all starts and to remove operator from direct line of fire. WIth Autopack® you get the safest condition of work for your crews Our proprietary and patented level sensor (capacitives) and actuator systems are supplied for both DC and 3C technology to get accurate level regulation Beside this core équipments Novelis PAE also supply in line degassing solutions, our patented products Alpur® , Jetcleaner® and IRMA ® systems are also designed to bring the most efficient Hydrogen removal. These equipments can be ordered separately and installed in an already running line. about 450 units are running nowadays. Linked to degassing, we have also engineered the filters with 2 main family, PDBF® CFF.(cermaic foam filter). about 300 PDBF are currently operated worlwide, with capacity up to 90 tons per hour.
