SB Packagings is the manufacturer of Flexible packaging material, both mono-polymer and multi-layered, in form of Rolls and bags. SBP is the largest manufacturer of PE Bags in India and has a large variety of bags for different applications including Food and Hygiene products. With over 50% share of the Hygiene packaging market in India, it boasts of being the largest supplier to companies like P&G, J&J, Unicharm, Noble Hygiene, KC, etc. The other customers are Walmart, Future group, Tata Tea, ITC, Dabur, Unilever, etc. SBP caters to India, South Asia, Middle-East and Africa markets. It has state of the art European Flexo and Gravure printing facilities, Solvent-free lamination and Film extrusion lines with a total capacity of 11000 TPA. It has the largest variety of Bags and Pouches in the country including Wicket Bags with handle and perforation, Side Gusset bags with Patch Handle, Side/Bottom Seal bags with gusset and Laminated Pouches: Zipper, Stand-up, Spout, Shaped/Profile, Quadra/Centre/3 Side Seal, Rope Handle etc. The plant is BRC ‘A' certified and has the latest equipment and QA systems to supply zero defect material to customers. The other certifications include ISO 22000, ISO 14000, ISO 9001, Sedex (social-ethical compliance). The growth strategy of SBP is to work closely with its customers and develop customized solutions for them, which in turn enables them to win more customers. It has lately been focussing on sustainable and recyclable packaging and has developed PE based high barrier films without using PET or EVOH or BOPP so that it qualifies as mono-polymer film. SBP has built a unique distinction of having 80% of its sales in mono-polymer products which are 100% recyclable, which is exactly reverse in the case of other packaging cos.
