Bawabat Makkah Company

Bawabat Makkah Company is a subsidiary wholly owned by Al Balad Al Ameen company, which is wholly owned by the government of Saudi Arabia, and was formed in 2010 to act as a development arm for the Municipality of the holly city of Makkah. Bawabat Makkah's mandate is to lead and facilitate the development of the western suburb of Makkah, stretching over 63 sq Km some 12 km west of the holly mosque. It aims to achieve this through attracting key governmental admininstrative,educational, and health services projects as well as through partnership with private sector developers for residential and commercial and mixed use developments.
