Driver Safety Services (Australia) Pty Ltd (DSS) is a business that undertakes training predominately for the Transport Industries Skills Centre Inc., a not for profit association made up of Tasmanian and Australian transport industry bodies and Associations, having been established through the Transport Industry Training Board in 1991. Operating from it's office located in Cambridge, Tasmania, DSS has a global outlook and is undertaking major assignments nationally that efficiently connect people with products and services that meet their driving performance, behaviour and business needs. Our vision is to be known globally as one of the market leaders in modifying driver behaviour by providing: • Crash free driver education (Behavioural change program and training) • Skills training (VET National accredited qualifications including Certificate III to Diploma in Transport and Logistics, Furniture Removals, 4WD, ATV, Trail Bikes, Civil Construction Ticketing & High Risk Licences) • Driver Licence training (Heavy Vehicle Licences, Motorcycle, Scooter, Dangerous Goods, Explosives, Taxi, Forklift Licences) • Driver risk management • Driver safety consulting services DSS Crash Free learning program is different from other ‘advanced' or ‘defensive' driving programs as it is based on attitudes, knowledge and behaviour, instead of physical car handling and car control.
