The Cobra Group of Companies started selling consumables more than 24 years ago in Sydney, Australia with the ambition of building one of the world's largest and most successful sales and marketing companies. This goal has been achieved with Cobra's direct sales and marketing subsidiary, the Appco Group - now a global leader with more than 800 offices in 26 countries on five continents. Over the last five years Cobra has been working hard to diversify into other businesses that complement Appco's core expertise. CRS Racing has joined forces with McLaren to develop and produce GT3 racing cars based on the new McLaren MP4-12C road car and Cobra has a number of strategic investments in play with a series of exciting global ventures managed through Cobra Investments – a global investment fund.
