GSSC-MM is committed to giving every girl access to life-changing experiences! Our proven programs help girls: DISCOVER their feelings and interests and express them in healthy, responsible ways; CONNECT with peers and mentors to practice values-based decision making and gain new skills; and TAKE ACTION to improve their world as they practice hands-on LEADERSHIP. Using the nationally-developed Girl Scout JOURNEYS curriculum and through specially-designed hands-on activities, Girl Scouts will develop life qualities, such as strong values and self-esteem, conviction about their own potential and self-worth, and interpersonal communication skills. Girls become leaders in making their homes, communities, and world better places for all of us. Girl Scout programs are measurable builders of self-control, self-confidence, and the sense of pride and accomplishment that comes through completing tasks, challenges, and projects in which the girl is interested.
