Kate Rhodes Kate Rhodes is Senior Partner and Founder of KRC. Kate qualified as a lawyer in 2007 and has worked in legal, political and regulatory roles for the online gaming, financial services, fintech and payments industries. She has held positions such as General Counsel for Betway and the Palace Group, political adviser at Wonga, and held regulatory policy and public affairs roles at Visa Europe, Lloyds Banking Group and Barclays. Her notable successes involved driving the work on the Interchange Fee Regulation (IFR) for Visa Europe, regulatory permissions relating to the Visa Europe Visa Inc merger, and Payment Services Directive II (PSD2). Kate led the regulatory policy strategy in the General Data Protection (GDPR) working group for Lloyds Banking Group, and initiated the Big Tech policy thought leadership group for Barclays.
