Our mission is to promote and explore the culture of the Azores islands, with emphasis on history, traditions and gastronomy. Hungry Whales creates cultural and food tours, providing fun and unique ways to experience the character of the Azores islands. Our guests can expect delicious food and drinks, wonderful stories and interesting recommendations, making sure they get a real taste of the local culture, gastronomy and nightlife of these beautiful Islands. The Azores are a group of nine volcanic islands in Portugal that were for a long time so hidden, that their stories are often still waiting to be discovered under the hot-boiling lava surface. We listened to these stories and got to know the soul of this wonderful, mysterious archipelago. Now, it's time to share it with the world. We lead small-group tours crafted with a personal touch and private tailor-made tours.
