Blue Sky Solar Racing

Blue Sky Solar Racing is a student-run design team at the University of Toronto. We specialize in designing, building, and racing of solar powered cars. As a team, our goal is to create innovative products, promote sustainable technology, and to provide students with an opportunity to grow and develop outside of the classroom. Over the past 25 years, our team has built 10 solar cars and competed at numerous races across the world. Most recently we competed at the 2019 Bridgestone Solar Challenge finishing 11th from over 30 teams! We are currently in the process of designing and building our 101h generation car for the 2021 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, a grueling 3000 km race from Darwin to Adelaide, Australia.
