Közlekedési Múzeum

Múzeumunk 1899-ben nyitotta meg kapuit Budapesten, nemcsak Magyarország, hanem az egész európai kontinens egyik első ilyen jellegű intézményeként. A Magyar Műszaki és Közlekedési Múzeum 2009-ben hét múzeum egyesítéséből jött létre, amelynek fő intézménye a Közlekedési Múzeum, emellett több budapesti és vidéki múzeum is tagja az egyesülésnek. Állandó és időszakos kiállításaink sikerét jól mutatja, hogy évtizedek óta a leglátogatottabb magyar múzeumok egyike vagyunk. \ \A Városligetben található épületünk 2015-ben felújítás céljából bezárt, jelenleg nem látogatható.  \Az új helyszínre való költözés hatalmas lehetőséget kínál arra, hogy a múzeum eddigi koncepcióját újragondoljuk, innovatívabbá tegyük. Az eddig megszokottól eltérően a közlekedés világát nem csupán láthatóvá, hanem tapinthatóvá és személyesen átélhetővé tesszük. Küldetésünk lényege, hogy a technikai vívmányok mellett bemutassuk a közlekedés, a kultúra és a társadalom, valamint Budapest fejlődését, azok kölcsönös kapcsolatát a reformkortól napjainkig, kitekintéssel a jövőre is.\ \A megújuló Közlekedési Múzeum a 21. század által támasztott elvárásoknak való megfelelést tűzi ki célul; a nemzetközi múzeumi trendek követése, és az ezekhez való igazodás kiemelten fontos számunkra.\\Opened in 1899 in Budapest, Transport Museum was on one of the first transport museums in Hungary and on the European continent as well. \Hungarian Museum of Technology and Transport was founded in 2009 by the integration of 7 museums, of which the main institution is the Transport Museum. The success of our permanent and temporary exhibitions is well illustrated by the fact that we have been one of the most visited Hungarian museums for decades.\\Our building located in Városliget has been closed in 2015 and will be renewed, so it is currently not available to visitors.\Moving to a new location offers a great opportunity for us to rethink our concept and make it innovative. Unlike before, we will make the world of transport not only visible, but also tangible and personally perceivable. The essence of our mission is to show not only the technical achievements but also the development of transport, culture, society as well as the development of Budapest and also their connectedness from the Reform Era (19th century) to the present with an outlook to the future as well.\\The renewed Transport Museum aims to meet the expectations of the 21th century. Following the international museum trends and adapting to them is high priority for us.
