NUS Centre For the Arts

Established in 1993, the NUS Centre For the Arts (CFA) is Singapore's only full-fledged arts centre within a university setting. CFA aims to create vibrant spaces for NUS students to experience the arts, and to nurture creative minds and inquiring spirits. CFA is focused on integrating the arts into university life, offering opportunities for discovery, exchange, and action. CFA hosts and nurtures a diverse set of performing arts groups across the NUS campuses, fuelling the passions and aspirations of student performers across a wide range of artistic disciplines, and at all levels of proficiency. CFA also regularly engages NUS students year-round through a range of performances, workshops, talks and even integrating arts into the curriculum, through collaborations with NUS faculty for various NUS modules. As a part of the Office of Student Affairs, CFA oversees NUS' performing arts groups as part of a holistic and comprehensive framework that will nurture and grow the performing arts on campus, making it more accessible and visible, while enriching student life. CFA will work with various colleges, faculties, and schools to curate new academic programmes in the performing arts.
