Action Deafness (AD) is a Deaf-led charitable organisation where 75% governance, 50% management and 80% front-line staff are all Deaf*. AD provides range of high quality, specialist and value for money services for *"Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, Deafened and Deafblind people"​ throughout the UK. Our flagship services include: - Communications Interpreting (NRCPD-registered BSL face-to-face/video online, lip-speaking & remote captioning interpreting service) - Community & Care (CQC-registered personal care, assistance and support services) - Hub Connect (Walsall, Hereford, Worcester and Oxford; BSL & Deaf Awareness Taster courses, technical aids & referral equipment services, youth & families, information & advice & fundraising) AD main service provision is based in North East, The Midlands, Home Counties & South East.
