McBean and Budd was founded in 2016 by Ruth Moser and Jane Eaton. The collaborative team create unique, luxurious fabrics which incorporate the hand of the painter together with innovative design. The joy and philosophy of the creative partnership brings together the past and the present. Together they have developed unique imagery," textile paintings" which presents a hybrid of inspirational, high key colourful designs, revealing imaginary journeys within the landscape. To showcase the designs, vintage and historical furniture is reclaimed, refurbished and embellished with colourful luxury fabrics from our collections. An integral and essential strategy of our business is ongoing research relating to sustainable and organic production of textiles. This emphasises the current awareness and response to the ecological crisis. Additional products available are wall art and fabric by the metre.
