WAPCOS has registered impressive growth achieving the status as one of the premier international consultants in these sectors. WAPCOS is one of the profit making Public Sector Companies since inception and has been accorded a MINI RATNA status by the Government of India. WAPCOS has been rated as "Excellent" by the Department of Public Enterprises during the last seventeen years and has been awarded Prime Minister's "Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Award for Excellence in Performance". The Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Govt. of India has selected WAPCOS amongst the top Central Public Enterprises for this award.
