The Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (भारतीय प्रबंध संस्थान, राँची), abbreviated IIM Ranchi, is a public business school and an Institute of National Importance situated in Ranchi, Jharkhand, established in December 2009. IIM Ranchi is committed to supporting excellence in management education and research that positively impacts people, organizations and society. Through its vision of multifaced and holistic development, IIM Ranchi aims to educate and support leaders who can contribute as professional managers, entrepreneurs, and stewards of existing and emerging enterprises in the private, public, and social sectors and carrying out research, publication, consultancy, and advisory work to advance new knowledge and innovation and to provide thought leadership in management theory and practice while inculcating Humility, Honesty and Hard work for individual and corporate success in its students. The institute offers master's degree programmes in management (MBA, MBA-BA, MBA-HR), Doctorate in Business Administration and Management (PhD), Post-Doc Fellowship Programme, 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM BBA+MBA), and an Executive MBA Programme. In addition to its academic programmes, the institute is engaged in facilitating research, offering consulting services, conducting seminars & academic conferences and publishing journals. The institute houses three centres of excellence: Atal Bihari Vajpayee Centre for Leadership, Policy, and Governance (ABVCLPG), Birsa Munda Centre for Tribal Affairs (BMCTA) and Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness.
