The Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) is proud to be recognised as a 2022 Winner of The Australian Business Award for Employer of Choice. The Melbourne Racing Club is one of Australia's most vibrant Sporting and Event providers comprising of Caulfield, Ladbrokes Park (Sandown) and Mornington Racecourses as well as Pegasus Leisure Group, a suite of 14 hotel and club venues located across Metropolitan Melbourne. Each year the Melbourne Racing Club kicks off Melbourne's Spring Racing Carnival with the Caulfield Cup Carnival that consists of the Schweppes Thousand Guineas Day, Neds Caulfield Guineas Day and the Carlton Draught Caulfield Cup. In addition to the Carlton Draught Caulfield Cup Carnival, there are more than 75 days of horse racing at Caulfield, Mornington and Ladbr Each year the Melbourne Racing Club kicks off Melbourne's Spring Racing Carnival with the Caulfield Cup Carnival that consists of the Schweppes Thousand Guineas Day, Catanach's Jewellers Blue Sapphire Stakes and the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup. In addition to the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival, there are more than 75 days of horse racing at Caulfield, Mornington and Ladbrokes Park, including Australia's richest country cup, Mornington Cup. Along with horse racing, the Melbourne Racing Club holds functions and events of all sizes across our venues that include lifestyle and leisure shows, trade shows, festivals and university exams to name a few. Ladbrokes Park (Sandown) is also one of Australia's premier motorsport facilities and hosts race days for various motorsport clubs throughout the year in addition to being one of the locations used by the V8 Supercars. We employ over 2500 employees in casual, part time and full time roles across the many business areas.
