Arabia Falcon Insurance Co. (AFIC) was formed by the merger of two successful, long-standing, all-line Insurance companies in Oman. Now a subsidiary of Arabia Insurance, the oldest Insurance group in the region, AFIC will benefit from its regional and local experience to provide top notch services to the Omani market. The merger was completed in March 2017 and the company began operating as a single entity in April 2017. The second biggest shareholder in AFIC is Al Anwar Holdings, previously majority shareholder in Falcon and with a long track record of successful investments. AFIC is preparing for an IPO to be completed in 2017.
