VISIT DENVER is the official marketing arm of the City and County of Denver, responsible for selling Denver as a convention and leisure destination. VISIT DENVER is governed by a board of directors, employs a staff of nearly 50 professionals and counts nearly 1,300 businesses as members. It's funded from both private and public sources, including 2.75 percent of the lodger's tax in the City and County of Denver. In 2019, Denver broke tourism records with 17.7 million overnight visitors and 31.4 million total visitors, according to Longwoods International.
