The Scindia School

Founded by late Maharaja Madhav Rao Jayaji Rao Scindia in 1897, The Scindia School, Gwalior, has a rich legacy of 122 years. The School has also been ranked as India's No. 1 Boys' Boarding School in the annual EducationWorld India School Rankings (EWISR) 2019-20. Fully residential boys school located in the historic Fort – constantly redefines its relevance since 1897 by remaining in step with changing times. It practices modern educational methods with the support of up to date infrastructure, a well-equipped library, health center with a residential doctor, more than 300 computers with large network of Dell servers, projectors and all necessary peripherals. The students live in 12 residential houses – eight for senior and four houses for younger students. The Housemaster/ Housemistress residence is attached to each house to ensure the availability of pastoral guidance at all times. A wide range of facilities are along with 22 play-fields, well-equipped multi-gym along with indoor shooting range and students are encouraged to participate in archery, athletics, soccer, cricket, basketball, equestrian, squash, tennis, table tennis, badminton, chess, swimming, and diving.
