Safe N Happy Periods

Safe N' Happy Periods is a not-for-profit social initiative towards a shame-free and pain-free period through education, awareness, and advocacy. Our mission is to create an environment of trust where they can ask questions without any hesitation, dismantle the myths associated with menstruation and prevailing practices for menstrual waste disposal, environmental impact, and concerns. We conduct workshops for girls over 9 years of age across different socio-economic sections of the society which we have slowly extended to other genders as well. We hope to de-stigmatize the topic of menstruation and make it more gender-neutral.
