As the global market leader for braking systems and other rail vehicle systems, the Rail Vehicle Systems (RVS) division of Knorr-Bremse is the worldwide driver of the rail transportation revolution and next-generation mobility. The division supplies highly innovative system solutions that make rail transportation of people and goods more reliable and better connected, safer and cleaner, and more comfortable and efficient. Knorr-Bremse RVS delivers higher capacity, greater availability and maximum safety for the mass transit, mainline and freight markets. The division also offers eco-friendly technologies and solutions as part of the rail industry's contribution to a more climate-friendly transportation system, and provides integrated life cycle management throughout a rail vehicle's service life. In all its activities around the world, Knorr-Bremse RVS is driven by the goal of adding value for its customers and making an effective and positive contribution to society and the environment. The Munich site is home to the Management Board, together with the aftermarket (RailServices), development, project management, quality, supply chain management and procurement functions and the Group's global administration team. The Systems, Sales, Digital Products, and Innovations business units and the corresponding Brake Control, Electronics, Air Supply, Hydraulics and Bogie Equipment Centers of Competence are also managed from Munich.
