World Medicine Ilac Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi was established in Turkey in 2011 as an affiliate of the Corporate Group of World Medicine. One of its domestic production facilities is operating in Istanbul and the other in Tekirdag- Cerkezkoy. The company's production facilities abroad operate in Romania and Algeria. The success story of World Medicine, which started with the ninth place prize in the field of "Export of Pharmaceutical Products" in 2016, continued in 2017 with the "Fastest Rising Company in Export" award and the third place prize in "Export of Pharmaceutical Products". In 2018, it received the third place prize in the Stars of Export, and with its successful performance in exports in 2019, it took the second place in the category of "Stars of Export - Pharmaceutical Exports" of IKMIB. With its exports in 2020, it has become Turkey's leading company in the field of pharmaceutical exports. World Medicine made the ISO 500 list at the 390th place in 2021, leaving behind many pharmaceutical companies that were on this list in previous years and ranked 5th in the sector.
