Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia

Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia is a Polish research organization active in the field of interdisciplinary research within engineering and social sciences. We employ today over 200 experts in the field of economics, social sciences and engineering. We have successfully implemented several research and advisory projects for EU institutions as well as local and central authorities. Pro-Akademia satisfies the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard pertaining to provision of pro-innovative consultancy services. In 2013 Pro-Akademia received the title of Poland's Leader of Innovation and Regional Development in the competition under the patronage of Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Pro-Akademia's main field of expertise is renewable energy and innovation policy. We are proud to have several patent applications in the field of renewables and we're currently preparing new inventions. Our representatives participate in creation of research, economic and social policies of Europe (Horizon 2020 Programme) as well as Poland and Polish regions. In pursuit of innovation development, Pro-Akademia coordinates the ‘Bioenergy for the Region' Cluster, which is a co-operation platform bringing together more than 50 companies, local authorities, scientific institutions and business support organisations that operate in the renewable energy sector. By coordinating the processes of knowledge transfer between science and industry, the cluster contributes to the growth of innovative companies of Lodz region. Pro-Akademia‘s experts speak Polish, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Italian.
