Columbia River Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of bank holding company Columbia Bancorp, provides retail and commercial banking services to small and medium sized businesses and individuals in Oregon and Washington. The bank offers deposit products, including non-interest bearing and interest bearing demand accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, and certificates of deposit. Its loan products include construction, land development, real estate, commercial, consumer, and agriculture loans. The bank also provides loans to consumers, including secured and unsecured personal loans, home equity loans, personal lines of credit, and various installment loans. Further, the bank provides VISA credit and check card (debit card) programs; cash management services, including payroll processing, collections, wire transfers, electronic funds transfer for tax payments, lock box services, deposit sweeps, and check payment verification; and insurance and annuity products, and employee retirement plan products, as well as a telephone banking service and secure Internet banking service with online access to account information. As of December 31, 2008, it had a network of 21 full-service branches in Oregon and Washington. The bank was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in The Dalles, Oregon with additional administrative personnel in Vancouver, Washington.
