SNAP (Stop Now And Plan) The gender-sensitive SNAP Boys and SNAP Girls programs are designed for children ages 6-11 who are engaging in aggressive, anti-social or disruptive behaviours, and/or have come into contact with authority figures at school or in the community. SNAP was created over 30 years ago at the Child Development Institute in Toronto and has since then expanded internationally. It is an evidence-based approach where parent and child work towards the common goal of minimizing undesirable behaviours by making their problem smaller.
