In 1984, Frans Schrofer founded Studio Schrofer from his home workshop in The Hague. He had the vision to create furniture designs that balanced sculptural beauty with ergonomic excellence. 30 years on, Studio Schrofer has grown from a passion into an international business with a multi-disciplinary team. With a family line of craftsmen, from engineers to painters and sculptors, Schrofer acquired his admiration for hands-on design from a young age.
