Created in 2003 by Joaquim Dias Cardoso after selling his majority stake in the Maconde Group, SDV has been working in partnership with the Jerónimo Martins Group for more than 15 years in the textile area both in Portugal and in Poland. In 2006, the founder's daughter, Carla Cardoso, and a reliable management team took over. With close to 300 employees distributed among 3 companies in Portugal and Poland, SDV controls all stages of the process from design, sourcing, product, logistics and retail. It owns the CODE brand, which has 50 stores in Portugal, 44 of which in partnership with the Jerónimo Martins Group. With the goal of making fashion accessible, SDV is committed to the CODE brand and its extensive collections of clothing and home textiles at an affordable price for the whole family. Know-how and customer orientation are the main pillars of the group, which makes it a valuable business partner for all retailers who choose the SDV and its brand.
