NEAT Academy Trust

We are a multi-academy trust with five schools (four primary and one secondary) in North East England. Collectively we have 2,500 pupils, a £16million budget and 380 employees. Our common purpose as a trust is to nurture, educate, achieve and transform. Our vision for 2018-2021 is: We belong to an innovative, sustainable trust working collaboratively with partners to share our vision and values that enables all learners within our influence to be well prepared personally, socially and academically for the next stage of their lives in a changing world. As well as running successful and thriving academies, we work collaboratively throughout the education sector: - Newcastle Research School at Walkergate has been selected by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and the Institute for Effective Education to be part of its network of research schools across the UK. - We also have a DfE designated teaching school which delivers effective school improvement support to leaders and a range of qualifications and CPD for education professionals - The Newcastle PE and School Sport Service delivers high quality programmes to increase participation and improve skill levels in primary PE and facilitates competitive sport through school games - Our subsidiary company, NEAT Active Ltd, operates the community provision at Benfield Sports Centre
