Welspun Enterprises Ltd. (WEL), part of the globally reputed Welspun Group, is one of India's fastest growing infrastructure development companies. WEL specializes in execution of road and water projects under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) and via large-value Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts, in addition to selectively undertaking Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) projects. The Company also has investments in Oil & Gas exploration. In the roads & highways sector, the Company has successfully completed the prestigious Delhi–Meerut Expressway project in a record time of 19 months, amongst several BOT (Toll) Road projects, with a total length of over 570 km. In 2022, WEL monetized six of its completed road assets for over Rs. 9,000 crore, in line with the objective of creating sustainable value accretive growth for stakeholders. In the water & wastewater segment, the Company has recently secured its single-highest value order of Rs. 4,636 crore from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to construct the Dharavi Wastewater Treatment Facility. Additionally, as part of Government of India's Jal Jeevan Mission, the Company is executing a large water supply project in Uttar Pradesh, which will provide access to safe and adequate drinking water to over 2,500 villages. Welspun Enterprises aims to drive sustained profitability, which is achieved through a differentiated asset light model, turnaround strategy and prudent risk management. It remains sharply geared towards complex infrastructure projects that will lead to efficient transport and increased productivity. With ESG at the core of its business, the Company is committed to carrying out operations in a sustainable way.
