Elle Driver is an international sales, acquisitions and production company based in Paris. Across a broad spectrum of budgets and content (thrillers, comedies, animations, documentaries, genre, etc), our slate emphasizes a diversity of films each with a unique universe and sensibility. Our ambition is to promote worldwide an activist, creative cinema, through an original, demanding and alternative lineup. Since its creation in 2008, ELLE DRIVER has chosen to hand-pick the films it represents, focusing on quality rather than quantity. This strategy, in addition to proving its success with the numerous film selections in major festivals around the world, has allowed ELLE DRIVER to be renowned by its foreign partners and producers, with whom ELLE DRIVER co-develops or co-produces half of the films presented in recent years. After 12 years of existence, ELLE DRIVER now holds a catalog of more than 150 films, with a wide range of stories and storytellers, from young promising filmmakers to directors with an already well-established reputation. From the Caméra d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2009 with SAMSON & DELILAH by Warwick Thornton until the Sundance Grand Prize in 2018 with THE MISEDUCATION OF CAMERON POST by Desiree Akhavan and the Berlinale Silver Bear for Best Screenplay in 2019 for PIRANHAS by Claudio Giovannesi, the company has seen its films selected and awarded prizes in major festivals every single year. Elle Driver has worked with renowned and award-winning filmmakers such as Emmanuel Mouret, Claire Denis, Costa-Gavras, Emmanuelle Bercot, Cedric Kahn, Naomi Kawase, Benoit Jacquot, Cristi Puiu, André Téchiné, Tommy Wirkola, Mohamad Rassoulof, Anurag Kashyap, Leslye Headland, Gabriele Muccino, Tanya Weixler.
