School of the Future

School of the Future promises our learners and families a "continuous, relevant and adaptive" approach to learning. Learning is continuous. Learners are able to learn anywhere and at any time. No longer is learning constrained to a classroom; with their laptops, our learners can access course content, learning engagements and school resources, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Learning is relevant. Through problem based learning and service learning, learners connect their academic world to their community and their lives. Learners use digital tools to solve real world problems that matter now. Learners are engaged and challenged, while preparing for their future in the 21st century, as lifelong learners and global citizens. Learning is adaptive. Every person requires a personalized and differentiated approach to learning. Learners benefit from a student-centered instructional model that allows all learners to realize their full potential.
