Crystal Foundation

Crystal Foundation is a non- governmental and a not- for- profit organization focused on providing help to physically and mentally handicapped children that would otherwise be neglected and outcast by the community and the institutions. We help the children and their families by diagnosing issues and addressing them through health services, education, shelter, physical therapy and occupational therapy. We help the families by educating them and creating awareness and sensitizing them to remove the stigma of their children's handicap. We help the community by teaching the children survival and trade skills and give financial support to indigent families to cope. While we continuously seek to expand the self-funding portion of our operation through farming, operating a bakery and other activities, we still largely rely on the generosity of donors from around the world. To provide the best possible support we work in close cooperation with other organizations focusing on related activities such as literacy and specialized medical care in Cameroon.
