James L. Williams was one of the largest and the most experienced services contractors established in Australia, having been established in 1875. JLW started with general plumbing and street lighting (gas lighting), throughout time completed a lot of Australian projects, including first air-conditioned building, first 6 star Green-star building with ESD standard, airports, Pixel building achieved the highest LEED rating amongst 44,000 buildings worldwide. The Middle East operation was started in the United Arab Emirates in 2008. Today the operation continues an aggressive and steady expansion in the Middle East, Africa and South East Asian Region. A key factor to JLW Middle East's success is its engineering capabilities, and ability to deliver. JLW Middle East niche is its engineering expertise; this combined with the ability to deliver a high quality installation has set JLW apart from the contracting market in the Middle East. In a short time, JLW Middle East has successfully delivered the electro-mechanical works for shopping centres, medical centres, commercial developments, hospitals and data centres. JLW has an impressive collection of high profile projects that are completed and an array of projects in the pipeline. These projects are based in the UAE, mainly Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Currently JLW are working on 60 MW Data Centre, 15 MW Data Centre and 7.8 MW Data Centre as the Main Contractor, American Community School New Campus for American Community School (ACS), Sharjah Airports Central Utility Plant (CUP) Facility and Associates Works as the Main Contractor for Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), Abrahamic Family House with Zublin Construction for Miral Asset Management.
