In May 2017, Nan Shan Life took over all assets and liabilities of the troubled Chaoyang Life Insurance, demonstrating its commitment to fostering the sound development of Taiwan's insurance market. The rights and interests of the original Chaoyang Life Insurance's policyholders are well protected. Furthermore, they are able to enjoy the excellent customer services provided by Nan Shan. As of the end of 2017, Nan Shan Life's total assets exceeded NT$4 trillion. With over 11 million effective insurance policies, Nan Shan Life provides top-quality protection and insurance planning services to more than six million policyholders through its extensive service network nationwide, including 25 branch offices and over 350 agency offices.
