The Federation of Universities (FedUni) is an association of Indian Universities founded by statutory universities. The objectives of FedUni include: To bring all universities together to help improve standards of instruction, examination, research, publications, library organisation and such other issues. To provide advocacy support to the universities. To provide opportunities for collaboration with universities in India and abroad. To provide linkages between FedUni and other similar associations in India and abroad. To provide equivalence of degrees, diplomas and examinations among universities. To serve as an Inter-University Organization for promotion of arts and culture. To act as a bureau of information and to facilitate communication. To act as a representative of the universities in India. Information of the universities, colleges, courses offered, degrees awarded, fee structure, scholarship schemes, financial assistance, bank loans etc. Details of all the relevant enactments rules and regulations related to higher education which govern the functioning of regulatory bodies, membership bodies and accreditation bodies in India. Latest updates on the issues relating policy decisions in the field of university education pertaining to affirmative action, fee structure, admission procedures, approval processes etc. Court judgments on matters relating to university education which have bearing on the functioning of the universities and their policies.
