Freight Transport Association (FTA) is one of the UK's largest trade associations and represents the transport interests of companies moving goods by road, rail, sea and air. Boasting a rich heritage, FTA has been supporting the interests of the transport industry since 1889. FTA specialises in delivering safe, sustainable and efficient logistics. We do this in the following ways: Representation - representing the needs of the logistics industry at local, national and European level. Campaigning - FTA's campaigns raise awareness of the logistics industry. Compliance - we inform and prepare our members about the latest compliance requirements. Training - our training schemes improve the skills and knowledge of drivers and managers in the industry.
