Mikser has vast experience in generating and leading creative and community projects which are "anchors" of community life, open for public participation and social production, the driving force for sustainable urban future, and natural places for the dissemination of knowledge and good practices in various fields of sustainable development. Activities and programs that we create include interviews, community meetings, workshops, and other co-creation activities which put people at the epicenter of activities and establish a social exchange that is continually contributing to the personal growth and sustainable development of the neighborhood, the city, and society as a whole by facilitating cooperation and commonness among various stakeholders through various levels of sharing, such as knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, knowledge-building, actions-sharing, collaboration-building, reality-building, facility-building, vision-building. Through its key projects - Mikser Festival, Mikser House Belgrade and Sarajevo, Young Balkan Designers, Savamala Creative District, Refugee Community Center Miksaliste, etc., Mikser Association has so far organized nearly 3000 free educational and cultural events - lectures, workshops, conferences, competitions, presentations, screenings, exhibitions, forums, public discussions and other forms of informal education, knowledge exchange and dissemination activities. Owing to its dedication to topics of environmental protection and regenerative urban development, and its expertise in community engagement, social inclusion, participative urban planning, cultural management, and communication, Mikser is being recognized as a credible and advantageous partner in numerous international cooperation programs such as Climate KIC (Blue Green Dream 2013 – 2015 / Blue Green Solutions 2016), Creative Europe (Urban Cooks 2013-2015 / Balkan Design Network 2014-2016 / Made In 2018-2020), Horizon 2020 (EuPolis 2020-2024 / Heart 2020-2023), etc.
