Agency for Halal Quality Certification - Bosnia&Herzegovina

Agency for Halal Quality Certification, in accordance with the provisions of the Codex Alimentarius, worldly accepted code of conduct for halal food, and according to the Law of the Status of Religious Communities and Churches in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the only institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina authorized to issue Halal certification for quality and allowing the use of Halal Quality Trademark for halal products. In accordance with its works and mission, the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina launched a project of formation of the Agency for Halal Quality Certification in order to establish in Bosnia and Herzegovina a system that would allow manufacturers to certify their production processes and products and placed them on the market labeled as "halal". One of the objectives of the Agency is keeping up with world trends and achievements in the areas of production, control of production processes and content of halal products. The Agency intends to achieve the goal of establishing and maintaining active communication and cooperation with similar institutions that already operate in other countries and participation in international conferences, symposia, round tables, and attending halal products exhibitions.
