We want to transform firefighting. We arm fire agencies with big-data solutions so they'll be better informed, more flexible, safer, and ultimately more valuable to their communities. Intterra started on fire. Our team, our tech, and our spirit formed around the need to get reliable information to the fire line faster than was possible back in the day. We had each been challenged, frustrated, even heartbroken by the need for critical intel to save homes, lives, communities, watersheds, wildlife, and firefighters. When firefighters are racing against disaster – and every emergency is someone's personal disaster – they need to know what's around the corner, what's likely to happen next, where the hazards are located, who's next to them in the dark, and how to get out safely. That's our mission, our vision, our strategy, our tech, our metric, and our bottom line: helping get information to the people who save people as fast as technologically possible. Today, our cloud-based data visualization software is used by some of the busiest fire agencies across the country. The United States Forest Service uses it to help protect our nation's forests. Ventura County used our software to help battle the Thomas Fire – the largest in California history. Intterra is also partnering with the Western Fire Chiefs' Association to help bring data best practices and shared learning to fire agencies by creating the Fire Data Lab.
