In 2007, Siemens decided to purchase the property of the entire design of the first generation of Active-Tags, and grant to INGECOM the most advanced title of "Advanced Partner"​. This contract demonstrates the superior technological achievement done by INGECOM already since its inception. The second generation of Active-Tags was born on 2008, with very significant improvement in terms of performance/cost ratio. At that time INGECOM started also to deliver products to the middle-east region and rapidly grew to become a major supplier for Arabic countries. One of the strategic move of the company in 2010 was to incorporate its own production site for its own products only.
